At IBBC, we bring together select faculty, staff, students, and financial and prayer supporters to serve our Lord in this effort. Our purpose is evangelism and establishing churches in the Word of God, which we accomplish by training men and women in the college. God has opened doors in Ukraine and other former Soviet Union countries. However, millions of people in these lands have not been reached with the Gospel. More trained workers are needed to reach them, teach them, train them, start new churches, and pastor current churches. We are seeking serious students who are willing to diligently study the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15). We are serious about training leaders and teachers in local churches so that they can become more effective in carrying out the Great Commission.
Our studies focus on four areas:
1. Biblical Studies including Bible backgrounds, theology, and Bible books
2. Pastoral Studies including preaching, counseling, administration, and church work
3. Church Planting Studies including foundations, evangelism, training, and church growth
4. Missions Studies including an emphasis on missions to people in former Soviet nations.
We offer the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (BABS) and Bachelor of Biblical Studies (BBS) degrees. Students are trained in biblical research, communication, preaching, discipleship, and other ministry areas.
IBBC is unique in that in offers top quality classes at no charge and the classe come to the students' town. Most classes are held in local churches that cooperate with the college. The student does not have to spend large amounts of money for tuition and for traveling to classes.
